"This is a genuine piece of beach pottery from Maine and it is wire wrapped in sterling silver and hangs on a sterling chain. Most likely, the pottery was once part of a Victorian transferware serving piece, which someone through away into one of the Atlantic ocean bottle dumps about 100 years ago."

The pendant is an inch and a half long. The sterling chain is 18 inches long from one end of the clasp to the other.

last night i sat down and whipped this up





it was intended to be sold in my etsy shop but i kinda love it so i'm gonna see if i can reproduce something similar since it is OOAK and all :D.

Pigeon Prints : Sea Horses:Monogomy:Etching

Check out this sweet 3x4 etching by Pigeonprints!

The 2 sea horses were etched in the foreground and their golden coloring was achieved with a chine colle (collage process in printmaking) using hand made paper. The background is filled with text about human monogamy that fades in and out of legibility. This print is part of an edition of 30, printed on mint Bugra paper.
